Two Cities in Louisiana Made the Top 20 List of Best Places to Get Married.

New Orleans and Shreveport proudly made the list. How did these two cities make the list? WalletHub.com compared 182 of the biggest U.S. cities. They factored in 26 big indicators like cost-effectiveness and convenience. Nothing was missed, from the average wedding cost (which is $30,000 in America) to the number of quality wedding vendors, venues, and event spaces per capita to hotel availability.

Well-known photographer Micahla Vaughn has been featured in multiple bridal magazines and is a huge fan of Shreveport's wedding industry, she said "Shreveport is the best place to have a wedding.
