Every week we like to spotlight a local charity, group, or person who is doing awesome things in the community. This week we wanted to shine some light on Heart of Hope Maternity Home.

What They Do: This organization helps young pregnant women ages 11-23 by providing a safe refuge to focus on their emotional, physical, educational, and spiritual well-being, as stated on their website.

How You Can Volunteer: They have multiple volunteer opportunities in that will cater to their resident care, ministry care, and for special events. To find more information on the volunteer opportunities click here.

Events To Mark On Your Calendar: They do not get government funding so they run solely on donations and fundraising.
