Fun Things to do in Louisiana on Feb 16 That’s Not Mardi Gras

By now, the news that the majority of Mardi Gras parades, balls, and events have been canceled has trickled down around our state. We're not really surprised, but we are heartbroken that we won't get to celebrate our most famous holiday because of coronavirus concerns. And if you were just getting in the carnival mood on January 6th, you no doubt ran out and got a king cake on the first official day of the Mardi Gras season.

But, we must now find something else to do on February 16th, which just happens to be Fat Tuesday this year. You might or might not still have the day off from work or school, so make it count, fellow Louisianians.
