K945 has been Shreveport-Bossier's Hit Music Channel for over twenty years now. Part of that is due to our commitment to our community and always providing top-notch entertainment, prizes, and events for our listeners.

For several years now, our listeners have been waking up every day with The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show. The KKMS is one of the funniest radio programs in the country, and we know that our community has enjoyed the time they spent listening to that show on K945. The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show won't be going too far, as they will now be heard on our sister-station, 96.5 KVKI.

K945 has been your favorite radio station for over two decades because we pride ourselves on being live and local. For me, nothing makes me happier than when a listener spots me in Target and we have a ten-minute long conversation or when a listener asks for a picture at a Mudbugs game. Being active in the community is very important to us, and we know it's important to you as well.

Some of you may not know this, but my first actual job at K945 came nearly nine years ago as the stuntman on the last local morning show on the station. I had the privilege of sitting in with Bristol and Shawn in the Morning, and that was an experience I'll never forget. That's one reason I'm beyond excited about this great news.

There's simply something special about a local morning show. That's why tomorrow, September 15th, we'll be launching a brand new, Shreveport-based morning show called "The Morning Madhouse". For our East Texas listeners, that name may sound familiar. Brandon and Carter have been on the air for years on 95.3-102.3 The Breeze in Tyler, Texas. In fact, if it wasn't for some extremely strange circumstances, we may not have them at K945 today.

These two, and their ultra-successful Morning Madhouse, became extremely popular in East Texas, not only because their show is truly great, but also because they impacted their community like no one else could. They were literally everywhere, helping with any event they could, using their platform to benefit those in their listening area that needed it.

Naturally, The Morning Madhouse is a perfect fit on K945. In case you haven't figured it out yet, the two really hit the ground running in Shreveport by bringing happiness to our area. Brandon and Carter are, of course, The Men In White. They both have so many amazing ideas that they can't wait to bring to Shreveport, and we're pretty thrilled about the future.

We can't wait to introduce you to The Morning Madhouse tomorrow, September 15th, at 6:00 AM.
